Why is it that I come across the same type of men. And no its not that I am out searching for a man because I am not. But most men I deal with allways get upset and throw a hissy fit. Yes you men out there PMS, just accept it and get over it allready. I know a few men in my life, well not few but alot of men who PMS. I'm just going to buy them a big bag full of tampons, pamprin and chocolate (-_-)

So why is it these three words allways comes out of a guys mouth. Thats how they insult females to feel better about themselves I guess? The words "fat, slut or bitch" allways comes out a guys mouth.  And thats all really I ever hear. But at least for me...if I really want to walk down that road, I can surely insult you with out being so feeble minded. Sheesh* I don't know it was something that I thought about yesterday and today. Has that ever happened to you, or am I just bugging out?

Family Teaching;Church Service 6-6-2010

Today was the finishing teaching of the Family Teaching Series that Pastor Marcos Rivera was preaching about on Weds. and Sundays. His teachings allways move me and stir my spirit. But today....today gave me hope.

I have been single now for almost 5 years. I was in a destructive abusive 5 year relationship with my High School Sweetheart *side note he was not sweet at all* More like a rottentart. When I finally asked God for the courage I walked away and never looked back. Two years of being single was extremely lonely for me, daily it was a struggle. Because during those 5 years with him I lost myself along the way. Thus I began my journey in self-discovery. And I am proud to say that today I am happily single by choice until God says otherwise. I know who I am, I have an identity. I am a daughter of the most High God. I've re-invented myself, discovered passions in life that I had no idea even existed in me. I can finally say that I am happy.

Today Pastor spoke about the following: Singleness, Marriage, Divorce and Re-Marriage.

Today in this day and age marriages all over are falling apart, driving people to insanity and peform unspeakable acts. But as believers we should and we need to stand firm on the authority of the word. The only perfect model of what Family should be like is in The Bible according to God.

Divorce. Sounds completely normal when it rolls of your tongue, I mean we don't cringe and gasp do we? No, its a normal thing. But the meaning is a legal term invented by man not by God. In the media divorce and re-marraige is openly spoken about and done; not just once or twice sometimes even five times. Its worn almost as a badge of honor, its permissive. Is this what we have come to? Is this what we plan on demonstrating and teaching to the next generation? Our children?! Divorce is run by the courts but never by church. Think about it for a second......when people are head over heels in love with eachother they run to the nearest church to get married but run as quick as possible to the courts for a divorce.

Why make such hasty decisions though? Is the serious of this sacred covenent not of any importance to some people? When two individuals decide to get married you are taken a sacred vow , a most valuable and precious convenent before God and the church congregation. "For better or for worse, till death do you part". That is a holy promise to God. But everyone is quick to result to termination of their marriage.

The worlds systems want us to stay bound but we need to let go and let God remove the shackles that hinder us. In fact everything you want and need to know about singleness , marriage, divorce and re-marriage is The Bible. A couple is one unit remember that.

So I learned today that marriage was not the first institution but rather singleness. Adamn was created first, there was a time where he was alone. God saw that he was alone and thought it is good for man to have company. So that is where he created Ever, bone of my bone flesh of my flesh. Eve was formed from the rib not to be spoken down to but to be looked upon as an equal, his other half.

If you are single ...STOP I repeat STOP viewing it as a curse. Praise God be thankful! This is the time to take care of ourselves and beautify ourselves. When you see a single man or woman who actually values and takes care of themselves, you see them joyful and content with themselves and life , its a major attraction. I mean seriously what man or woman is going to want a Debbie Downer all the time. Someone who is allways depressed and negative, a person like that how can they love anyone else? Those are the people you need to stay away from because they are still carrying the pain and hurt from a previous relationship. Thats noa burden you wish to carry because whether you choose to accept it or not if someone has not let go of their past, you will end up paying for the previous persons mistakes. And that is not fair. Stop being in such a rush to find love and get married. Keep in mind this...if anyone is ever going threw a situation like this, God hates divorce. Hate is an extremely strong and powerful word. And God clearly states in his word that he HATES divorce. But under certain circumstances God will pardon it and its simple. If he is abusing you in any way shape or form you have the God given right, not man, not court,not society but God given right to divorce him/her. And if he is unfaithful...but listen carefully lets not jump to conclusions now. Yes your husband or wife has been unfaithful. But is that enough to divorce them right away? Don't react on plain emotion. Of course your going to be hurt amd angry, but stop think about it, pray about it. For people of strong faith and are dealing with an spouse who is unfaithful about 90% will remain married and not go threw with divorce. Why? Because they choose to stick it out and make it work. They choose to forgive. Nothing makes us more like God than when we choose to forgive someone who has hurt us. And those are the only instances really.

Happily Ever After

On May 29th two very wonderful friends of mine got married. It was a beautiful tearful ceremony and the reception was tons of fun. The bride I was introduced to about 3 almost 4 years ago. She has been nothing but a doll. Although older than him by 3 years they complimen eachoter so well. I have been given the pleasure of developing a wonderful friendship with her and in my eyes she has become the older sister I have allways dreamed of having. The groom is my childhood bestfriend. Our families have been friends since he and were in P.S 110. Our families have went on vacation several times together as well. He has allways been like a brother to me. We even fight like siblings lol. But I thank God for him. He has allways been there for me even if we had not spoken in a year or months. If I ever needed anything, if I was hurt sick or in trouble. He was there. I pray that God blesses every corner every area of their marriage. Here are pictures of my wonderful friends The Noa's.

Oil Spil Catastrophe

I dont know about all of you but instead of me being so concerned about going to the beaches and partyig for the summer and looking cute? Either you dont care or are not aware of the seriousness of this issue. This OIL SPILL. I have been reading articles and watching the news. Is it because it has not touched us person...ally that some of us dont care at all? Whether you care or not this effects EVERYONE! Wake up.
This is the biggest enviromental catastrophe in our nations history. It is damaging our eco system and killing our wildlife. I'm sorry but something has to be done. Something ...anything. Time to brainstorm.

To start educating yourself and your child about our eco-system and our conserving the protection of our wildlife go to this site. For a second stop being so concerned about your partying, drinking and material possessions. We only have one planet. And Im starting to think that if this earth were to ever come to an end... its not because of God but because of the careless-ness of MAN. We dont take care of our home.

To understand the seriousness of this oil spill the wild life federation has created a generator on its site. I entered in my zipcode and it gave me a visual of how grand this oilspill is if it were to be in our location. It will cover Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Do you get why Im stressing the issue now?

Dolphin and Sea Turtle Deaths are only the tip of the iceberg of this Oilspill. So a co-worker and I are brainstorming fundraising ideas. Monday is when we will both site down together to create a layout of what we need and how we are going to go about doing this. I've sent an email out to www.nwf.org and hopefully they will respond back. This is a travesty. On this site it
gives you the option to make a donation. Please if possible anything amount will help to protect and save our wildlife.

Okay so I have been watching her videos for quite some time, she is fabulous. Her skills are on point, and I love her disney themed makeup looks. This look here is probrably something I would not wear going out either day or night, maybe if the colors were switched up to a smokey eye look then I'd wear out to a lounge or nightclub. But I am not complaining, its allways good to watch others who are more skilled and crafted in this area of expertise , you watch, you learn and brushen up your skills which is what I am trying to do.

Ready for War

So 2010 has been an emotional rollercoaster for me. Seriously. And my close friends and those close in my circle have known what an incredibly rough year this has been. Alot of physical and emotional pain I have endured. But others...those I would consider WEAK [sorry its true] would have given up. But for what?! Why let the enemy win, why let him steal my glory, my victory and have what is so rightfully mine.....things that I have worked so hard in. Nah nah nahhhhh yo.....I aint having it.


I refuse to bown down in defeat......let it be known I am claiming my victory.
So I'm a critical deep thinker and this just came out; nothing exceptional or mind blowing but it is my testimony to faith, my last words to THE ENEMY before I put on my armor...because I am going into WAR.


-And now the tests of my loyalty to HIM begin, The enemys strategies are now being planned, while he plans out his blue print to win my SOUL, The Lion and The Lamb will swallow him whole, I can feel the atmosphere getting thick as I draw closer to HIM everything that surrounds me turns dark and grim, but I have my eye on the prize the light at the end of the tunnel, Im putting on my spiritual armor so the enemys minions cant get under, Im ready for WAR.
